We've been going to Manny's for several years, and I am finally getting around to writing a review. What a find this place is! Excellent in expensive Mexican food with all the items we've tried having great flavor and we're always full! You know the saying don't judge a book by it's cover...well that would be Manny's. It's not the prettiest places I've been to but we love it!!!

We all know that when we are in search of legit Mexican food, there are only 2 places one can go...
Option 1: A Mexican home where fresh tortillas are being made from scratch, a big pot of refried beans (frijoles) is on the stove top, and the delicious smell of homemade Mexican rice (arroz) waiting to be devoured.
Option 2: (no not Taco Bell!!) but a hole in the wall Mexican joint.
And you guessed it, Manny's Mexican Grill is all about option # 2.
Sure Manny's has a digitized menu and it is very clean inside, but hey what's wrong with that!? Just because it's a hole in the wall, doesn't mean it can't have standards.
Their food is authentically prepared and is so full of flavor. The menu selection is decently sized so you can easily find something for everyone in your party.
There are 10 booth-style tables inside and a couple tables right out front. They have 2 t.v's going, one usually with a soccer game on and the other playing some nice Spanish music. Both their salsa bar and soft drink station are self serve so help yourself when you are here.
Staff is always friendly and this is definitely a great place to eat in or order your food to-go.
If you are in T.O. Come check out Manny's! -

Excellent food, great customer service, I love the carnitas enchiladas and the horchata .

I got a veggie burrito and it was really good! The lettuce and tomato were fresh and rice and beans were tasty. My friend loves their chicken burrito she said she would literally marry Manny. The chicken is seasoned really well and all the flavors go together nicely. My other friend got chicken and carne asada tacos and she liked them but thought it was slightly greasy. She said if she ate them every day she would break out.

Unfortunately, my experience with Manny's was less than favorable. We decided to try it since one of my daughter's was craving it and we just moved into this area, it was closer than our usual menudo stop. WELL, BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! Wish we had gone to our usual spot. I'm from Mexican heritage, raised on the stuff, and this was by far the worst menudo we have ever had. It was very sloppy, you can tell the cook just threw the ingredients into the pot without bothering to clean the meat. There is nothing more disgusting than eating fatty-stinky menudo that hasn't been cleaned. Plain ass sloppy!!
The service was horrible also. The register girl was selectively rude, was really nice and friendly to her regulars but a B---- to us! Also, she got one of my daughter's order wrong. Since she was so B----y I didn't even complain about the fact she had gotten my daughter's order wrong. I just made my daughter eat it.
Never again!
